FIDE Events Commission announces the Call for Bids for all FIDE World Championships 2028 and 2029 and invites all FIDE member federations to participate in the bidding process. Please be advised that the FIDE Council has approved significant changes to the structure of certain youth competitions, effective from 2026. The full and current versions of all relevant regulations for the competitions included in this Call for Bids are provided via the links in this document. It is the responsibility of each bidding federation to ensure that their bids are fully compliant with the applicable regulations.
